 American Capitalism 0 Great to see Messi scoring his first goal against an english team at the uefa cup final, in what was not just a triumph of style, but also a triumph of systems. Barcelona's owned by it's fans, who get to choose it's president and directors, Manchester United's owned by the yanks who are just out to make as much as they possibly can. You won't see them declining a 50 million pound a year shirt deal in favour of a charity logo! Surprisingly, the Glazier's haven't handed Park over to the chinese government for public beheading. Presumably they haven't got any chinese business interests at the moment, but rest assured it's something they won't think twice about should that position change.
