Another recommendation from AK Press. I sent a copy off on 28th September 1996. No response. After piling many pound coins into a call box in Cosham High Street, I was told they hadn't received it (as if!), and was invited to send in another copy, along with my Resume (CV). Quite what a CV would have to do with making one of the most important scientific discoveries of all time, I don't know, though I assume what they meant was 'If you're not a high ranking professor we're not interested'. Needless to say, I didn't bother.
