Dear Mr. Copland,
Many thanks for sending us your proposal for The Evolutionary Development of Life Forms. However, I am afraid that the book is too academic for the general reader, and therefore is not quite suitable for Bloomsbury's list. I am sorry to disappoint you, and hope you will soon find a publisher.
